YGAP (Y Generation Against Poverty) is an entirely volunteer based, not-for-profit organisation that provides an avenue for individuals to become involved in international development. YGAP enables volunteers to join innovative, collaborative and practical initiatives by combining their unique networks, specific vocational skills and common ambition of fighting poverty. Through field-based partnerships, YGAP aims to ‘bridge the gap’ between the aspiration vulnerable children have for an education, with the opportunities available to them. In our work across universities and corporations, YGAP’s vision is to become an outstanding source of inspiration and opportunity for all involved.
GA | C General Architecture | Collaborative is a multidisciplinary and international design firm that works collaboratively with non-profit organizations, NGOs, co-operatives and like-minded individuals. They design and implement strategic and culturally specific architecture, landscape, urban design and planning solutions with disadvantaged and vulnerable communities. Founded in 2007, GA|C is a group of architects, landscape architects, industrial designers and visual artists operating in both the academic and professional realms to engage projects with a social agenda. GA| C provides consultation and site analysis for the Ruhango School Project.
